Job Description:
We are seeking a Java Technical Lead with sound technical knowledge to enhance the delivery of technical solutions to our customers.
Skill/Qualification Requirements:
Experienced and knowledge of current Java technologies and methodologies, and hands-on experience in the following:

• The application of design patterns
• Test-Driven Development (TDD)
• Relational databases
• Object-relational Mappers (e.g., Hibernate)
• Dependency Injection and AOP Framework
• SpringSource products (e.g., Core, WS)
• JUnit
• Maven
• JSP/Servlets
• Web front-end experience (e.g., HTML/CSS/JavaScript)
• An understanding of the following would also be advantageous (but is not essential):
• Oracle

Experience Candidates should have a level of technical lead experience commensurate with the role, and must include at least 5 years hands-on technical experience, which should include technical lead roles.
Preferred Qualifications:

• Area-dependent developer certification (e.g. Sun Certified Java Programmer/Developer, application vendor-specific certification)
• 10 years of experience in Application development
• 5 years of experience in Web development
• 5 year of experience in Senior Developer on IT Projects
• 2 years of experience in People management

Primary Responsibilities:

• Technically lead software projects through all stages of the life cycle, including responsibility for requirements gathering, design, development and acceptance testing
• Produce high quality technical documentation for our customers
• Decompose technical tasks and provide accurate estimates
• Coach less experienced members of your team
• Undertake development tasks without supervision, including software designing, programming and testing within a Test-Driven Development process
• Monitor progress and provide updates to the Project Manager
